Renewable hydrogen consulting
We integrate strategy, guidance, technology, industrial applications, regulation and financing into our clients' hydrogen-related decision-making.
We help you make decisions and put them into action: we analyse the profitability of your investment, select the optimal technology and support you with technical and financial expertise from the initial idea through to project implementation.
At this stage, the client is exploring hydrogen: what it is, what it could mean for their organisation and how it could fit within their business or project. This is where vision meets feasibility. We help companies and public authorities navigate the initial uncertainty and define a clear roadmap.
- Preparation of conceptual studies.
- Feasibility studies.
- Regulatory, economic, safety and standards analysis.
- Project due diligence.
We turn your vision into executable projects. We support you throughout the entire project lifecycle, integrating technical design, economic structuring and alignment with public funding instruments. Our team acts as your technology partner, ensuring the robustness of every proposal.
- Preparation of conceptual studies and techno-economic analyses for technology selection.
- Project Due Diligence: We conduct specialised technical audits to reduce legal and operational uncertainty.
- We align each solution with decarbonisation regulations, safety standards and technical frameworks (EU, national and regional).
- We analyse costs and technological risks. We ensure that the technology is compatible with your existing facilities (electricity grid, thermal processes, etc.) to achieve seamless integration.
We support companies and consortia in preparing technical and financial documentation, assisting them throughout the entire submission process. We provide specialised technical and economic advice on technology selection, engineering decisions, asset management, acquisitions and investments.
- Financing and grants: Preparation of technical documentation and structuring of supporting documents to optimise regulatory eligibility and access to public funding.
- Tender management (RFQ): Preparation of requests for quotation and supplier selection.
- Permitting and approvals: Comprehensive support with administrative procedures and legal feasibility before public authorities.
- Asset and investment management: Specialist advice on the acquisition of or investment in hydrogen projects.
Technical management and institutional advisory services
The management of technical secretariats for international organisations involved in hydrogen development is a strategic activity that sets ARIEMA apart in the hydrogen consultancy sector. The group currently serves as technical secretariat for the IEA Hydrogen TCP of the International Energy Agency (IEA) and the European Hydrogen Safety Panel (EHSP) of the Clean Hydrogen Partnership, in consortium with IDOM.

Consulting team experience
In supporting the Innovation Fund 25 application, we strengthened the client's proposal through a technical and economic review of the feasibility study. We modelled the Project Finance structure using official tools to ensure a competitive business plan capable of securing grants for 100 MW of electrolysis capacity.
Innovation Fund 25
For the integration of bus fleets, we support the client by analysing the regulatory framework and the potential of hydrogen in different markets. We developed a tailored business model covering the entire value chain to determine the final price per kilogram and identify public funding opportunities.
Integration of bus fleets
Our role is to overcome technical obstacles: if the grid is congested or there is insufficient capacity, we develop the conceptual engineering required to make the hydrogen project viable and enable it to move forward.
Overcoming technical obstacles
We turn technology into business profitability. We assess whether the client's location and energy model allow hydrogen production to become an efficient and sustainable asset.
We turn technology into profitability.
We identify strategic opportunities where hydrogen addresses limited grid access caused by network congestion, enabling decarbonisation in areas with constrained electricity infrastructure.

Questions we answer
We analyse the criteria of funding calls (such as business models or innovation) and align your project with decarbonisation regulations to maximise its chances of success.
We anticipate regulatory changes (EU, national and regional). We assess the economic viability of your roadmap against future scenarios.
As developers of our own electrolysis technology, we have first-hand knowledge of the associated costs and technological risks. We provide objective advice on selecting electrolysers and auxiliary equipment.
We understand that discretion is essential in this sector. We work under strict confidentiality protocols, particularly when applying for funding calls or tenders that have not yet been made public.
The regulatory framework for hydrogen is constantly evolving. We continuously monitor European, national and regional regulations to ensure that your project complies with all legal requirements.
We act as an independent third party. We analyse your operational requirements and help you prepare requests for quotation (RFQs) to select the solution that best suits your business case, without bias.
We help you assess whether hydrogen is the optimal solution for your plant, design a tailored plan to decarbonise your operations and ensure strict compliance with current legislation.
