CARDHIN
CARDHIN – Dynamic inductive and hydrogen-based charging for electric vehicles powered by renewable energy.
- Funding body: CDTI
- Call: Science and Innovation Missions
- Partners: API Movilidad (coord.), SICE, Premo, Isotrol, Grupo InfoNorte, Aptica and Ariema.
- Duration: 40 months (September 2020 – December 2023).
- Total budget: €5,322,105.
The CARDHIN project aims to research and develop a functional prototype, in a relevant environment, of a dynamic inductive road charging system that enables electric vehicles, particularly heavy goods vehicles, to recharge while in motion.
In this project, Ariema aims to develop a model to simulate and optimise hydrogen-based P2P systems, enabling high penetration of renewable energy in the grid and ensuring a model capable of achieving the decarbonisation of the system.
